Supporting action in Yushu,Qinghai Province,China after the earthquake

A 7.1-magnitude earthquake hit Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of YUSHU in Qinghai Province at 7:49 a.m., 14th of April, 2010. This heavy news shocked CG staff’s heart. A course of action was made by the board after an overnight discussion for supporting government’s relief plan of YUSHU. A team was immediately dispatched by CG northwest marketing centre, China, to YUSHU. On 17^th of April, a simple donating ceremony was hold by Qinghai representative office, centre of northwest, in Xining. The relief supplies donated amounting to ¥300,000, includes emergent basic goods and a ZL30BII wheel loader. With an altitude of more than 4000 meters and oxygen content of 65%, our team lives in a tough environment, who gave away their tents to the locals and can only sleep in cars, finding it difficult to brush and wash. A night temperature of lower than 12 Celsius degree, with great snow and hail coming time after time, makes the life in YUSHU very difficult. But our wheel loader survives these tough circumstances, and provided powerful support for rescuers in YUSHU.
